aYassin Chickha holds an MBA from Wake Forest University, a BS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University.

Yassin is certified by PMI® as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) and is also a certified IBM Senior Project Manager. He served as VP Membership, Chapter President, and Past President of the PMI Metrolina Chapter.

Yassin has coached and trained managers on best practices and presented on many project management topics at conferences and seminars throughout the United States and abroad. He focuses on ensuring that our global, project-based training is making a difference to our clients’ organizations and works to ensure that MTI leads the way and offer the insight of a clear path for them to follow.

Yassin is highly respected in the areas of project management, talent management and measurement. He is an in-demand speaker at conferences, symposiums worldwide and he is a Professorial Lecturer at The University of North Carolina at Charlotte Continuing Education department.

bDave Violette has over 28 years of project management experience.  He is a certified PMP® and currently serves as a member the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Standards Program Member Advisory Group

Dave served as the chair of the update committee for the PMBOK® Guide – Fifth Edition.

Dave holds both a MBA and a Master of Project Management degree.

Dave works as a program manager for supplier automation for Duke Energy Corporation, the United States largest electric utility.  During his career with Duke Energy he has worked on many different types of projects including: engineering/construction, quality improvement, Human Resource, employee development, organizational change, and Information Technology projects.

Dave began his long involvement with project management standards in 1999 when he served as the co-chair of the international committee developing the first edition of PMI’s Project Manager Competency Development Framework.  Since that time he has actively served on PMI Standards Member Advisory Group and provided subject matter expert review/comments for many PMI  Standards, including: Practice Standard for Earned Value Management, Practice Standard for Work Breakdown Structures, Practice Standard for Scheduling, Practice Standard for Project Estimating, Navigating Complexity: A Practice Guide, Managing Change in Organizations: A Practice Guide, Implementing Organizational Project Management: A Practice Guide, PMBOK® Guide – Fourth Edition, The Standard for Program Management, The Standard for Portfolio Management, and Business Analysis for Practitioners: A Practice Guide

cMike Parnitzke is a consultant, business leader, entrepreneur and educator with over 30 years of practitioner experience within the disciplines of business analysis, process improvement and project management. His experience spans multiple industries, including education, public services-government, financial services, consumer packaged goods, retail sales, and manufacturing.

Mike is sought after for his strategic insight and facilitative leadership ability garnered from a variety of large-scale project experiences, particularly involving company-critical customer contact center operations.

Successful engagements included the massive re-engineering of a company-wide selling and delivery system (Pepsi-Cola), the process assessment and technology solution recommendation for one of the largest direct mail operations in the US (Capital One Financial), and the ground-floor start-up of one of the earliest virtual contact center enterprises in North America (HumanConnect).

Mike is also known for his expertise in change management, implementation planning, and rollout execution of large-scale technology and business process solutions. He holds an MBA in Aviation from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Florida.

For the past 15 years, Mike has taught industry recognized continuing education courses in Project Management (PMI), Business Analysis (IIBA) and Business Process Management for programs at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte, Michigan State University, University of Florida, Ohio State University, University of Texas-Austin and George Mason.

Mike acquired the bulk of his process and project management experience while working at Pepsi-Cola North America headquarters and Pepsi-Cola National Customer Service Center in Winston-Salem, NC. Mike began his career as a senior project engineer at Pratt-Whitney Aircraft, a Division of United Technologies corporation.
